The Black Scientist's Story
Scientist John Smith was born in Jacksonville, Florida. He went on to study history at Yale University and then Harvard Law School. At the age of 27 he became a Navy lawyer fresh out of Harvard Law School when he arrived at Guantanamo Bay. The scientists provided legal advice on how to deal with hunger strikes by detainees,. He suggested force feeding them as a possible solution but it was ultimately authorized by the Pentagon.
