Iren's Catch Phrase, "Eichman in Jerusalem"
Arent the benality of evil was her catch phrase. She argued that totalitarian regimes had much in common with modernity. Her argument remains controversial, partly because it seems to let ichman off the hook. But she did treat fashism as emblematic, rather than iconic, of evil.
