The Beginning of Something New

The mill was built in the early 1900s, and is still used to grind wheat. A giant funnel held the grain during grinding time; a chain hoist system drew bags of wheat up for pouring into chutes. School groups would come from all over the county to eat cookies made with flour that had been produced there.
