Can We Move on From Vocabulary Systems?
If you're aiming for a naturalistic and typologically defensible language, if you care about that sort of thing, then if you have voiced stops, then you will have voiceless ones. If you have aspirated stops or voiceless stops or ejectives, then you'll also have the plain voiceless series. That to me was always the big oddity of Laodon is that it only phonemically has voiced stops. Does that same correlation extend in two fricatives? No. I don't know because no, I don't think it does because I've got chandelewevy in my brain.
