Could You Get a Currency Crisis?
Larry somers baseley said he would not be surprised if the pound eventually gets below one dollar. I don't think we're an emerging market though, i think we're still a long way from that. The thing about currency is that it's a natural release valve. As the value of seing weakens, obviously it's making imports more expensive but it's making our products much cheaper and more competitive with other markets around the world. So i can kind of see a way through this crisis where we really do come out of it stronger. Unfortunately, it means this temporary pain of higher borrowing costs and a weaker currency.
