How to Monetize Early in a Startup
I think the same mistake that we try to keep companies from, like to monetize too early before they are actually in the market with their free user acquisition is exactly the same here. At the beginning, it should be for you to find what else you can sell to the market outside of full-time engagement. This should be more of prototyping first. Close your first couple of agreements. Maybe have one that is even free at first. Then close it at just your regular full-time rate. Just to test into it and then start increasing rates.
