What's the Social Definition of Magic?

Sally Kohn: Trump has made a good point about sort of the irrationalism and the magical thinking of American Christianity. She says it's not just religion, but how you relate to the world that determines whether or not something is magic. In ancient times, she says, ritual practice was seen as illegal if it involved invoking supernatural entities. But in modern times, some forms of ritual practice have been considered acceptable religious practice.
