Acute Aortic Cyndrome - What Is It?
Aortic cyndrome is a frequently mis diagnosed, life threatening condition. Emergency medicine providers miss the diagnosis in approximately forty per cent of patients who present with it. For those who do survive the initial hospitalization, a ten years survival is around 30 to 60%. The mean age of an acute aeotic sindrome is sort of mid to late sixties, up to early seventies. It's more common in men by a factor of about two.
