What Is the Paranoid Style?

Some of the characteristic qualities or some of the characteristics of this paranoid style are heated exaggerations, suspicion, and conspiratorial thinking. And often these ideas would just be spread with insistence without any kind of evidential merit. So his point is not to say that any one conspiracy theory is just wrong just because it's a conspiracy theory. He's saying instead that there was a specific way in which conspiracy theories in the way that he's criticizing them as part of a paranoid style were being conveyed.
