The Ramona illustrations, I cannot remember who illustrated the original version of Beezus and Ramona, but there is a truly iconic image of Ramona looking like her eyebrows are like this and her hair is all askew. The addition that I read, it was Jacqueline Rogers. Like Cleary's very good at creating little scenes where Ramona feels multiple things at once. And then generally works that just is able to live with that.
