containers is an audio documentary about global trade, capitalism and the people who make the world supply chains work. We learn that american companies pioneered the container shipping model, but now it's a global business. Thereare 500 pages transcripts from 26 hours of recorded audio, which was stored on a black box type device that was retrieved from the bottom of the ocean. These loquality recordings took 11 hundred hours for a team of investigators to decipher. The recordings themselves have never been released, or we'd play them here.
