People ave diferent communication styles. Some developers you work with can sometimes come across as more direct or less engaged in something than others. Be aware that some of that may not be as a result of who you are, and just maybe the way they tend to communicate. I often read entry level job posttings that have vaguely ages classifiers,. Like being part of a young, dynamic team, or are only open to recently matriculated students.
