The Disruption of the Writers Guild

The directors guild has been described to me, they really focus on one big issue every negotiation time. And for them, what I've heard said is that, is it a globalization and international production and international sales are the things that are, that are, in their mind. They're just in a very different place in a very, very different mindset. The writers have a very different set of issues. No one should, and no one should just assume that they're just going to set out as cheerleaders. We don't want to work either.
