The Aztecs Education System
The Aztecs had two very distinct words for education one meaning the act of giving wisdom to the face and one meaning the art of strengthening or bringing up men. There is good reason to believe that formal schooling in Aztec society was well developed and effective perhaps most impressive was the fact that at a time when schooling of any sort was limited to a small elite in virtually every European society in the Aztec world mandatory universal schooling for both boys and girls was an established fact.
