LZ Granderson: Would you consider yourself a perfectionist when it comes to language learning? And how does that kind of manifest? LZ: I was challenged by the fact of me trying to learn a dialect of Arabic just because there were no, there may have been like a textbook. But my main method for about the first five years of language learning was really like honing in on the grammar. It made me feel really confident, but it also maximized the perfectionist tendencies as high as they could go.
