John Vermure: My goal is to just emulate or duplicate hopefully whatever is on that original recording. In the early days of what we were doing, it was pretty easy because there were a lot of live drums. But as Al began parodying more production intense music, more music that was synthesized,. We had to learn, we had to grow. And we did very, very well. I think if you listen to our last couple of albums in particular, the rap and dance and techno tracks that we copied sound really,really, really, really good.
