Is Neelistic Really the Right Word?

Is Neelistic really the right word or would left-wing fanaticism be more descriptive? I would say heuristic in the sense that not caring about the values of the university is not caring about progress it was made. There's a famous line from the big Lebowski where there's a character described as a Neelist. Of course, they believe in something which I happen to believe that it's very destructive.
