Is There Room for Diversity in Protestantism?
Cameron: For many Protestants, you can change a lot of beliefs and still be Protestant because the bare minimum to be Protestant is belief in the Trinity. To be Catholic, there are more beliefs that become non-negotiable as a result. He says if German bishops say LGBTQ is morally acceptable, they'll be guilty of not upholding the deposit of faith. Cevallos: The identity of Christ's true church is found not just in doctrine, but in who possesses valid succession from the apostles or St. Peter.
