Can I Use a Knife and Fork in China?

From 14 different cities in china, there is no one way to hold chopsticks. Westerners apply that sort of western etiquette mentality on another cultures eating implements. If you're eating western food, it's fine to use a knife and fork. But often, when i went to china, i would always be brought a knife and forks.
