I would describe myself as a scholarly practitioner. The official academic line on all the stuff is that it's irrational and imaginary. My approach is this like a cook book, right? And so if somebody came t me and said, but you can't make the pancakes from the 19 75 edition of the joy of cooking because it's 19 75 - i have made the pancakes from that recipe. They're not the real ok? This is what i'm trying to do with it, and it certainly informs my pancake making. But again, ultimately, what i'm interested in doig is making pancakes.
