The Death of Edward

Alfred played a very large role in Edward's life. Maybe Alfred was overbearing, and Edward resented that. Or maybe they were close, and actually, Edward and Alfred decided what to do with his son together. We genuinely don't know for certain, but given that Alfred had more potential heirs than simply Edward, my guess is that they were actually quite close.
