The president and CFO of Live Nation, Joe Berktold, blamed bots who buy up tickets in large quantities for the pre-sale fiasco. We were then hit with three times the amount of bot traffic that we'd ever experienced. For the first time in 400 verified fan on sales, they came after our verified fan password servers as well.
