The Importance of Batch Size in Performance
Little's law says that size of work item doesn't matter because it's average, right? There is a trade-off right with the batch size in that. The one way you would know whether your whip is even valuable or not as a metric is by item age. So when you use the item age to think about the size of things and cycle time retroactively, you can look at it that way too.
