The History of Gliders in the US

The US had a very outdated decrepit air wing if you will in those days. General Pat Barnall took command and the letters became part of that it was his brainchild gliders were not invented at the time at the start of the war. I mean and they were in battle two years later just a remarkable story so it was a story of KetchupStarting with the attack on Pearl Harbor the buildup and the concept of gliders was born out of that.
