This is not clearly a sexually transmitted disease, although having sex can spread the disease. The people in this group were 20 to 50 years old, but they're doing ok. There are no deaths so far. We have two different vaccines that are effective against small pox. And one of them is an attenuated version of vaccinia, which is the virus used in the original small pox vaccine. It's actually safer than the original Smallpox Vaccine because it doesn't compromise immuno-compromise people.
