The word meme itself has been a very successful meme. But when you think of kind of memes as this attempt to kind of free replicators from the constraints or specific physical features, it seems like it's somewhat ironic that in many ways it seems to be those exact physical features of genes or organic genes. That why I think it kind of works still for in organic or biological evolution and why it does not work as well in cultural evolution.
