Introduction
Garth Price is Senior Research Fellow with the Asia-Pacific Program at Chatham House. Earlier this year, India and Pakistan witnessed a prolonged heat wave which started in March months before the usual hot weather. Heatwave affected agriculture severely and the flooding came to immense cost to property and infrastructure. South Asia seems to be one of the regions first affected by the impacts of climate change. We here to discuss how these risks interact and to discuss how the region can work together to create resilience to these threats.
