The Importance of Hydration in Running

Andy Nokes: I've read or researched here that up to 90 minutes can be tolerated quite well. For a lot of people, competitive runners, for example, that's going to mean that half marathons and that kind of thing are at that point where you might take a drink later on. But it's unlikely, if you go to the other side of the question, is dehydration likely to catastrophically derail your performance? Like, no. So there's that interplay of the ambient temperature with the duration. And layered on top of that, you've got level of experience because an athlete that's super experienced kind of intuitively learns how much they need to drink during exercise
