The Camera Never Lies
"I personally think the camera often lies because that's what we do in future films is we're creating a lie," she says. "For them I'm a kufar. So it doesn't matter, you know, they can say whatever they want and they can do whatever they want." The Kurdish people trying to create a democratic feminist government where they accept every religion and every ethnicity. They were kind of proud that there is this Kurdish woman filmmaker.
