This past week “Hannah Montana” actor Michael Musso was arrested, becoming the latest child star to have a tragic and public downfall in their adult years, joining the likes of Amanda Bynes, Lindsay Lohan, and Demi Lovato. Is this pattern we’re seeing merely the price of fame? Or is there something more sinister at play that has its roots in the exploitation of children in entertainment? And could this problem be getting worse now than ever with the advent of child influencers and social media stars? I did a deep dive into this topic, and I’m coming out with a warning for all of us.
