In 2020, this ministry got more hate mail than it's gotten in any year before since. I understood that to mean people were checking in to the race conversation. Even though they didn't really have anything invested in it,. wanted to come in, knock some stuff over and leave. "I think you can go back and read articles, listen to podcasts from 2019, 2020, 2021, and not see mission creep," he says.
