She says that there was this back and forth between a doctor where they were like, well, we could do a new surgery every year to replace her kneecaps with bigger and bigger false kneecap. But she's been a lot of her childhood from eight to 13, I think, in leg braces. The thing that makes me an inch skeptical of everything in this book is Caroline Callaway has done like perfect market research on what people find interesting about her and what people want to hear more about.
