The Relationships in Housing

i live with my partner and another married couple. There are four of us together. We own the house as tenants in common, so we split the mortgage down the middle. At tax time, we split the interest down the middle for filing our taxes. And yet, we really are kind of living in a sort of alternative economic arrangement that's based on these, you know, close, i think you could almost call them kin relationships that we've established together.
