I think one way I'd put that is how do these stories still address us today and, and like you said, not as symbols. It's when we're waiting, when we're wanting that we have to be reminded. And so, if you happen to be in a context or in a community that has just experienced a great blessing, this is a way to let the text do the heavy lifting to remind us of the wanting you just came out of.
