Not all addictions are created equal. All of them have that quality of wanting without likng that starts to creep in there. For me, literally, just closing my eyes for a second, like shaking my head, it would make a big difference. And i think you can see that in a lot of different ways, various forms of snapping the spell on the moment of lucidity. I've definitely had days where i sort of woke up from from the screens for a minute there and whent, wait, what am i doing with my life younow? It was taking action in those moments that kind of enabled me, too, to move away from that.
