The Basics of Bitcoin

When we say Bitcoin, I mean any of the cryptocurrencies that you hear about. So it's run by the Bitcoin network and it's an online currency. To use Bitcoin, you don't need any third parties like banks or companies. It makes sending and receiving money just as easy as sending and receiving an email. The main difference is there's a limited amount of Bitcoin, whereas with the US dollar, there's essentially an unlimited amount.
