The Soviet occupation of Estonia between 1944 and 1991 still remains very deeply ingrained in the collective psyche of the Estonian people. The war in Ukraine feels like pushing the replay button all the time, because Russia is using exactly the same playbook of occupation now as it did back in in 40s in Estonia.
