Is There a Different Hijab Rule?

The restrictions led to an increase in arrests, but also sparked a surge in women posting photos and videos of themselves without head scarves on social media. In August 2021, President Raisi gets elected. He enforces new restrictions that include mandatory prison sentence for any Iranian who questioned or posted content against the hijab rules online.
