The Goodbye You Regret

My mom grew up an only child in Taiwan. Over the next four decades, my mom had to leave and say goodbye to Waipu at probably 25 times. She says back then, if you were lucky enough to skip town for the US, leaving wasn't a question mark. But now as an adult, I feel for her. Having to do this really hard thing over and over again.
