Long Only a Commodity Index - Is That a Good Idea?

When you see the inflation, commodities have actually already gone up. So it's kind of a little bit of a silly thing to say, oh, i'm going to hitch against the inflation we see now by getting commodity exposure. Well, you probably should have thought of that before you even saw any inflation in the numbers. Even if commodities look great, they're up 50 % in the last 12 months, well, i mean,you're not even back to break even at that time.
