The Disappointment of Transitioning
When someone comes out as trans, it just invokes so many opinions because it's just right there. A lot of people have opinions about what being trans is when they're not trans themselves. The whole process of transitioning is very undignified in this society. We are having to often prove to people who aren't trans, that are medical professionals, that we're trans by their definitions of what being Trans is. And then we're having legislation be formed on our lives by people in government who aren'ttrans. So it's very, very frustrating how little we're consulted about forming this legislation and policies that have an impact on our everyday lives.
