John, i suppose the real question that we're all asking is, based on everything you've said, what should be the west's response and attitude to china? Doing nothing or doing little will ashly make things worse. The only way to to get to a relatively happy outcome is to restrain and deter. I'm optimistic that there's time to actually do that. And i feel much better about where things are am than four or five years ago, where i think we're a sort of sleep walking our way to disaster.
