How Google Has Become So Self-Sustained

In the very early days of Google, I remember I think it was July of 1999. We were in a terrible state as a company. And we had one of these conversations where everyone was like, well, what could Google do? You know, what could we try and achieve in the future? In that conversation we came up with the idea of Google Book Search.
