Drugs That Caused Adverse Events in Females

In 19 77, because of the tragic consequences of d e s anthelytymide, the fda made a big change. It recommended excluding from early clinical trials all pre menipasle females capable of becoming pregnant unless they had life threatening diseases. Which meant that many of the drugs that later came to mark had been tested only on male subjects. A great example of this is the drug ambion, which was just the latest of the large number of drugs that had adverse events in females.
