The Importance of Preservation in Music
It's about losing a physical structure or building. They moved the publishing out first to an old church and then, you know, when the banks came to own it,. You had Betty Crutcher writing songs out of a bank office. That's not right. But you know, it's, we have all of this great music and whether it was pulled from the ashes of that building or it came out of the vaults or from the publisher where I found the lion's share of this material on this set. The great news is we have it and preservation through proliferation as I like to say now because there's going to be a couple thousand of these box sets out there.
