The Battle of Refidim

This is one of the most famous memorable battles in the Bible because it's a miraculous battle. The Amalekites came and attacked the Israelites at Refidim. This is really the beginning of the distinctively bad blood between these two groups. It introduces this theme of plunder. And I think this incident also introduces a thematic through line for all of the relationship between the Jews and the Amaleks.
