The Fallacy of Developmental Stage Theory
The ability to collaborate is quite high in this ladder. But research shows that children under the age of six are better collaborators until they go to school. So my problem with developmental stage theory is that it can't see emergent stages, truly evolutionary beings. It will show up under these conditions of modern education and industrial training as a higher or latent capacity. And on the other hand, be completely debunked and correctly debunked outside of that context.
