We already know how to de carbonize electricity. Its low hanging fruit. On the pathway to decarbonizing are broader energy systems. Think of all those winter solar panels, hydro electric, geo thermal and even nuclear power. That technology exists. And fasing out coal and oil has had a dramatic impact on reducing emissions from electricity generation.
