With the cokliar implant, i con strem music from ma ipod into my head without ear buds. Recently, i went to a friend's long, tedious concert, and unknown to anyone else, i listened to the beetles for three hours en stad. Technology has come so far so fast. The biggest obstacle i face as a deff person is no longer a physical barrier. It's the way that people respond to my deafness,. pity, patronization, even anger. Because that just counsels out the human connection that technology achieves.
