Fish Oil Reduces Heart Disease

In the 1970s, two Danish chemists Hans Olafbang and Jorn Dyerberg visited Greenland and drew blood tests from their Inuit tribe. They found that they had higher intakes of omega-3 fatty acids. Baraki: Much of the thinking around fish oil as it relates to heart disease can be traced back to data from the 1970s That suggested the Inuit, who subsisted largely on a high fat diet of whale blubber, had low rates of heart disease.
